Shepard Fairey (Obey)'s philosophy and that of Keith Haring were so similar that Fairey was eager to work with this unique street artist. Haring also liked to paint walls and believed that art should be as free as possible. He was very much influenced by the social problems of the 70s and 80s and expressed this in his work. Since many of these problems are still part of the order of the day, his work still appeals to many target groups. Unfortunately, this artist died of AIDS. For this, he founded the Keith Haring Foundation, which still exists and is actively run by his assistant Julia Gruen. Check out our Obey collection online.
