To give the headphones the typical, iconic Marshall look and feel, a lot of attention was paid to the design. The Marshall logo is on the side of the ear cups and on the inside of the headband is the signature of the founder of the famous rock 'n' roll brand: Dr. Jim Marshall. The curly cord is a reference to vintage guitar cables and the plug is a 3.5 mm replica of a classic telestand plug, which can also be used with the included 6.3 mm adapter.
The Marshall Major is available in three colours: Black, White and Pitch Black. For the headband of the Major Black and Major White, Marshall uses the same vinyl as in their world famous amplifiers. The Major Pitch Black is the black sheep of the Marshall family. These headphones are completely black and have a denim headband, inspired by the uniforms of musicians who spend their lives on the road.
