De Marshall Major is een koptelefoon met een onmiskenbaar Marshall-DNA. Deze Marshall koptelefoon was pas zes maanden later te koop dan gepland, maar het is dan ook te merken dat er veel tijd is besteed aan de ontwikkeling van deze hoofdtelefoon. De technici van Marshall zijn erin geslaagd hun jarenlange ervaring met het verzorgen van het allerbeste geluid op de grootste podia ter wereld te vertalen naar deze headphones. Ze laten je muziek klinken zoals die moet klinken, wat je smaak ook is. De Major is ontworpen om de hele dag op te houden, en is een echt werkpaard met een groot uithoudingsvermogen. Het maakt niet uit hoe hard je muziek is, dankzij comfortabele kussens zit voelt de koptelefoon zacht aan.
To give the headphones the typical, iconic Marshall look and feel, a lot of attention was paid to the design. The Marshall logo is on the side of the ear cups and on the inside of the headband is the signature of the founder of the famous rock 'n' roll brand: Dr. Jim Marshall. The curly cord is a reference to vintage guitar cables and the plug is a 3.5 mm replica of a classic telestand plug, which can also be used with the included 6.3 mm adapter.
De Marshall Major is verkrijgbaar in drie kleuren: Black, White en Pitch Black. Voor de hoofdband van de Major Black en Major White gebruikt Marshall hetzelfde vinyl als in zijn wereldberoemde versterkers. De Major Pitch Black is het zwarte schaap van de Marshall-familie. Deze hoofdtelefoon is compleet zwart en heeft een hoofdband van denimstof, geïnspireerd op het uniform van muzikanten die hun leven slijten ´on the road´.
