You can buy the best snowboard clothing online at Revert 95. The snowboard clothing we sell - from top brands like Burton, Oakley, Nike Snowboarding and ThirtyTwo - is technical, comfortable and looks great. Almost nothing is as unpredictable as the weather in the mountains, but with good snowboarding clothes this doesn't have to be a problem. We advise everyone who goes on a winter holiday to dress in different layers: thermal underwear, fleece and of course a waterproof, breathable snowboard jacket and trousers. If it gets hot or cold, you can easily stay warm by adding or removing layers.
First layer
The first layer, or first layer, is thermal clothing. This technical underwear provides warmth close to your skin and helps sweat escape. The breathable and quick-drying fabric used for thermal underwear wicks moisture away from your skin, where it can evaporate or be picked up by the next layer. In addition, thermal underwear is often stretchy, so you have all the freedom of movement you need to make your moves. So, basically, thermal clothing is the opposite of old-fashioned cotton, which sucks up water in no time. We have the most comfortable thermal clothing from brands like Airblaster and Burton.
Second layer
Fleece is the perfect second layer. It is super-light and warm, and like thermo is breathable and quick-drying, so that moisture is not retained but can easily escape. Fleece jumpers and flannels keep you dry, warm and fresh all day long, without restricting your movement. The fleece tops from Burton, Analog, Volcom and Thirtytwo combine these technical advantages with a style that also works well off the mountain. For the iciest days on the slopes, we've also got super comfortable fleece pants.
Snowboard jacket and trousers
The last and most important layer is the outer one, which consists of a technical snowboard jacket and snowboard trousers. The real outerwear layer is slightly more technical than fleece and thermo. This layer doesn't only have to lead moisture away from the body, but also keeps out snow, wind and rain. Burton, Nike Snowboarding and ThirtyTwo are specialised snowboard companies, and all snowboard jackets and trousers in our shop are at least waterproof and breathable enough for normal snowboarding conditions. The degree of waterproofness of snowboard clothing is expressed by the term water column. The height of the number indicates how much water pressure a material can withstand. A water column of 5,000 mm means that a jacket or pair of trousers will only let water through when it is exposed to a pressure that is comparable to a water column of five metres high. That sounds like a lot, and in principle it is. A snowboard jacket or trousers with a water column of 5,000 mm is completely waterproof against rain and snow, but it might start leaking when sitting on the slopes for a long time. The waterproofness of our snowboard clothing starts at 5.000 mm and goes up to 20.000 mm in the high-end snowboard clothing. Snowboard clothing with a waterproof rating of 15.000 to 20.000 mm is completely waterproof and able to withstand extreme pressure. Gore-Tex snowboard clothing, however, goes one step further. The waterproofness of outerwear with this miracle membrane is usually not expressed in millimetres; the manufacturer gives the garments a Guaranteed To Keep You Dry guarantee. Besides excellent protection against the elements, snowboard trousers and jackets from specialised snowboard brands are stacked with snow-specific features like a powder skirt, ventilation zips and handy pockets for your goggles and lift pass.
