Etnies is this week's Revert 95 Brand of the Week. Etnies was founded in 1986 by French pro skater Pierre-André Senizergues, making it the first skater-owned shoe brand in the world. With its revolutionary designs, Etnies changed the way people looked at skate shoes forever. Etnies was also the first brand to launch a pro model skate shoe. Today, the brand is still leading the way in skate shoe development. For example, the now American-based company has its own lab where innovations can be developed and tested. This has resulted in revolutionary technologies such as STI Evolution Foam. Besides that, the brand has an eco-friendly line and some of the best skaters in the world ride for Etnies.
