Trucker caps may not be as ubiquitous as their snapback or 5-panel like-minded people, they might as well be the crowning glory of your outfit. The trucker cap is based on the classic baseball cap, but often has a slightly higher front and a pre-curved peak. The biggest difference however is in the material. Where snapback caps are usually made of 'standard' cotton, the trucker cap is made of foam and mesh. This does not only give the cap a nice and airy feeling, but also a more casual look. Trucker caps have just like snapback caps a plastic snap fastener at the back, making it fit most people's heads.

The designs of trucker hats are usually bigger and less subtle than those of 5-panels or snapbacks. Extensive graphics or oversized logos are the rule rather than the exception. Many brands make it even wilder by playing with the colours and patterns on the mesh and the visor. Hardcore snowboard and skateboard brands like Capita, Lib Tech, Loser Machine and Thrasher traditionally rock the trucker style, but also streetwear brands like Brixton and Obey have rediscovered the trucker.
