Stance Socks was founded in 2011 by skateboarder Ryan Kingman and snowboarder Rick Alden. Their goal is to turn an everyday item, socks, into a product that stands for freedom, expression and individuality. For example, Stance works together with artists such as Jason Jessee and Kid Creature, offering them an original canvas for their work with the Art Collection. But also the 'normal' socks of Stance are special. The socks are made of a special blend of combed cotton and polyester, which makes them last a lot longer than regular socks, which are usually made of a mix of cotton, nylon, polyester and spandex.
Stance Socks
All socks have original patterns and prints and are upgraded with extra comfort through padding and ventilation. Stance also has socks specially designed for skateboarding and snowboarding. To combat the problem of disappearing socks in the washer and dryer, Stance comes up with creative solutions: Mix Match- a pack of two non-matching socks, Three of a Kind- three different socks, and Swinging Singles- single socks. All based on the idea of 'don't match, don't matter'. With Stance socks you send out a mixed message that is both subtle and bold. At Revert 95 you will find the largest collection of Stance Socks in the Netherlands.
