Regular waxing keeps the base of your board from drying out. This also improves the glide properties, so that you go faster than all your friends. The different types of wax can be divided into hot wax and rub-on wax. Hot wax is applied to your snowboard by melting the wax with a iron and spread it over the base of your board. Then use a wax scraper to remove the the excess wax away. All in all, hot waxing is a time-consuming and precise job. You can also choose rub-on wax. This is applied by simply rubbing the wax on your board.
