Polar Skateboards is one of the most exciting skateboard brands of the moment. The brand is the brainchild of Swedish skater/all-round creative Pontus Alv, and stems from his film projects "Strongest of the Strange" and "In Search of the Miraculous". The Polar Team
The Polar team, which consists of Jalte Halberg, Jerome Campbell, Aaron Herrington and Pontus Alv himself, travels the world to host events, collect footage and hype up locals with their raw street skating. Another example of this DIY/Skate and Create approach are Polar's guerrilla-like skateparks. The guys from Polar come to your neighbourhood, build illegal concrete obstacles under a bridge, and then disappear like some kind of skate version of the Tooth Fairy. Revert 95 teamrider Tycho Henskes represents the Dutch Polar Skateboards team.
