Isle Skateboards is an experimental skateboard brand/art collective from the biggest island in Europe: Great Britain. This fresh new skateboard brand was founded early 2013 by pro skaters Paul Shier and Nick Jensen, who knew each other from their days at Blueprint Skateboards. Isle immediately received rave reviews for a series of films and its thoughtful board graphics. Take the Curiosities Series. The prints on these boards look like simple boxes - which they are - but there's more to them than meets the eye. The boxes are custom made to the dimensions and shape of a skateboard deck. Isle pros Nick, Paul and Sylvain Tognelli then filled the boxes with personal objects, and voilà: a unique series of boards was born. Following a similar working method, the guys from Isle continue to develop unique concepts in their own studio. In addition, they regularly collaborate with artists, including James Harrison and Lee Marshall. Isle skateboards are of high quality and can take a lot of abuse.
