Herschel Supply was founded in 2009 by brothers Lyndon and Jamie Cormack, who named the brand after the village where their great-grandparents lived. Their goal with Herschel is to create timeless products, with great attention to detail. The inspiration for their designs comes from American heritage and the classic style of mountaineering and world travel. They combine this vintage look with modern production methods, features and fit. For example, they have Herschel's Laptop Backpacks special compartments for your laptop and smartphone, and sit comfortably all day long thanks to reinforced ergonomic shoulder straps.
The Quality of Herschel Supply Backpacks
The backpacks are made of high-quality materials such as polyester, canvas and cotton, and are finished with details of full-grain leather, environmentally-friendly faux leather and antique copper. All backpacks are lined with Herschel's unique printed polyester lining. Well-known Herschel models are the Settlement, Heritage and Little America. Besides the regular collection, Herschel has several lines with limited editions, like the Bad Hills Workshop and the Studio Collection.
