Brixton history and philosophy
Brixton was founded in 2004 in a garage in Oceanside, California by 3 friends. They are David Stoddard, Jason Young and Mike Chapin. David is the creator of the name Brixton. When he worked for Transworld Magazine, he had already coined the name Brixton. He sprayed it on his skateboard and surfboard and everyone thought it was a good name and logo. Together with his friends and Transworld colleagues Jason and Mike, David decided to establish Brixton as a brand. They all had their own speciality when they started: David Stoddard was the creative and the one with a clear vision for the brand. Jason Young was the expert in sales and logistics and Chapin was the financial man. A dream team to establish a new brand.
