Brixton history and philosophy
Brixton was founded in 2004 in a garage in Oceanside, California by 3 friends. They are David Stoddard, Jason Young and Mike Chapin. David is the creator of the name Brixton. When he worked for Transworld Magazine, he had already coined the name Brixton. He sprayed it on his skateboard and surfboard and everyone thought it was a good name and logo. Together with his friends and Transworld colleagues Jason and Mike, David decided to establish Brixton as a brand. They all had their own speciality when they started: David Stoddard was the creative and the one with a clear vision for the brand. Jason Young was the expert in sales and logistics and Chapin was the financial man. A dream team to establish a new brand.
Timeless, clean and sophisticated
Nowadays, Brixton is an internationally renowned fashion brand, which is sold all over the world. The high quality clothing and hats are only sold in the better skate, snow and fashion shops. Although Brixton is a real corporate business nowadays, they still stick to their own values and philosophy. Brixton is inspired by music, culture and the people around it. The products of Brixton are timeless and yet also traditional. The design of Brixton is clean and sophisticated. Brixton is unique in its kind. That's why we at Revert 95 think it's a super cool brand!
