This Sunday, the Benelux edition of Volcom Wild In The Parks will take place at Area 51 in Eindhoven. The Wild In The Parks contest was born 10 years ago from the idea of doing something completely new for amateur skateboarding. The event works with locals and promotes local youth. Young, up-and-coming riders are encouraged to show off their skills in a positive and encouraging environment. Skaters are judged on the tricks they land, not the ones they don't.
Participation is free and everyone can register in one of the following categories: sponsored riders, unsponsored riders up to 15 years of age and unsponsored riders 15 years of age and older. For the numbers 1 to 5 there are nice prices to earn. All participants will receive a free BBQ meal and a T-shirt. Come along, eat something, drink something, go wild in the park and skate away with some free gear. Spectators are of course welcome as well.
