Afends clothing at Revert 95
Born in Byron Bay in 2006, Afends is at the forefront of hemp as a material in the Streetware, Skate, Fashion and Surf industries. It all started in an old screenprint factory, where Declan Wise & Jono Salfield printed band merch for Punk and Hardcore bands. They formed a large following of like minded and creative individuals over the years, allowing the Skate surf culture to surface in their collections. This is how Afends got the lifestyle and clothing style they have today.
The Afends Hemp Revolution
The Philosophy "Question everyting" is not meant to educate people but more to inspire them in a freer way of thinking. Not to just believe everything that is said, but to go out and look for answers themselves. Afends revolution is their way of addressing the sustainability of hemp in the Clothing and surf industry. The clothing industry is one of the biggest pesticide users worldwide and the more we looked for a healthier way of producing, the more it became clear that hemp is the way of the future for this particular brand.
