Skateboarding meets street art. The Element x Keith Haring Capsule collection is a collaboration between Element and Artestar, which consists of artists, photographers, designers and many more creatives.
This collaboration brings the elements of New York's skateboarding culture to life. Also in this collaboration with Element you see a lot of recognizable Keith Haring figures. This in combination with the basic colours of Element: red, black and white.
Keith Haring was an American artist born on May 4, 1958 in Reading, Pennsylvania. He developed his own style at a very young age, which he based on the popular culture around him, such as Dr. Seuss and Walt Disney. In 1982, he presented his first solo exhibition in Soho and not much later the bomb broke for Harring and he became known worldwide. Harring's style was characterised by his cartoonish paintings and drawings that highlighted subjects such as drugs, sex and apartheid.
