Carhartt WIP and Polar Skate Co. have joined forces to create a unique capsule collection. Polar Skate Co. is the brand of Swedish avant-garde skater Pontus Alv. Pontus can be described as rugged and outspoken, and has been a member of the iconic workwear label's skate team for over twelve years. It is therefore not surprising that these brands have found each other.
Pontus and his team of artist friends, skaters and designers have unleashed their creativity on a range of Carhartt classics, including beanies, vests and shirts. These are accompanied by a series of T-shirts and skate decks that are characterised by Polars recognisable graphics and unmistakable 90's vibe. The inspiration for the graphics comes from fallen empires, subtly announcing the end of Pontus' empire of homegrown skateparks.
