In their never-ending quest for interesting collaborations, Altamont found themselves with legendary photographer Richard Kern. The result is a mini-collection with work of Kern, who also shot a lookbook for the latest Altamont collection. The capsule collection consists of two shirts. The picture on the black shirt, a kneeling girl with lipstick all over her face, you might know from the Sonic Youth record Evol. The photo on the white tee is the first nude photo Kern ever made.
Richard Kern lives and works in New York and has published in magazines like Vice, Barely Legal and Purple. He is also one of the founding fathers of Transgression cinema and you can know him from the VBS.tv series Shot By Kern, in which he takes saucy pictures of young women. The Altamont shirts of Richard Kern and the rest of the new Altamont collection are now available at Revert.
