Shoe Goo is the solution to make the life of your skate shoes to stretch it a bit more. Shoe Goo is a cobbler in a tube, which fills holes and glues loose shoe parts firmly back together. The stuff was invented in 1972 by Lyman van Vliet, a physicist who was fed up with the fact that his tennis shoes were constantly breaking down. Armed with a ladle and a spaghetti saucepan, he set to work to create a glue for the soles of his tennis trainers. Van Vliet's experimental concoctions eventually led to a polymer that he marketed as Shoe Goo. Van Vliet's invention turned out to be ideal not only for tennis shoes but also for skate shoes that had been damaged by griptape.
