Vario Base Unit Classic Large

The ABS Vario Base Unit (here in L) is the basis of the ABS Airbag avalanche safety system. The proven Twinbag system is integrated in the ABS Airbag Vario Base Unit L and can be activated in seconds in an emergency. When inflated, the volume of the Airbag is 170 litres. This increased volume increases the chance that you will float on the snow and not be buried under the mass of snow. The Base Unit has a handle plate with an activation handle that is adjustable in height and also available for left-handers, so that in an emergency you can always quickly reach the lever to activate the airbags. The Vario Base Unit is designed to withstand the enormous forces released in an avalanche.
