Ashbury Eyewear specialises in making high-quality sunglasses and goggles. Twin brothers/pro snowboarders/best friends Lance and Mike Hakker started Ashbury in 2007 from their parents' garage. Today, Ashbury is still not a big brand, and maybe it never will be. The Hakker Brothers believe that making quality products is more important than quick success. The Hakkers are very perfectionist and only release products that they stand behind 100%. The style of Ashbury sunglasses is influenced by classic designs, music, art, skateboarding and snowboarding. The eyewear and goggles are developed in cooperation with a team of skateboarders, snowboarders and artists. The starting point for all Ashbury products is wearability, quality and functionality. For example, they only use the very best lenses, from Carl Zeiss. When it comes to attracting team riders, the brothers are not the easiest. Only people who fit into the culture of the brand are included in the Ashbury team. Fortunately, a lot of skaters and snowboarders subscribe to this philosophy, and Ashbury has built an all-star team with skateboarders like Theotis Beasly, Antwuan Dixon, Spanky and Billy Marks, and snowboarders like Joey Sexton, Chris Grenier and Jed Anderson. We also like the philosophy of this hardcore board brand and are proud to sell it in the Netherlands.
