Just over half an hour's drive from Haarlem station is one of the best skate parks in the Netherlands: The Sweatshop in The Hague.
The Sweatshop is known for its green floor, good coffee, chill atmosphere and of course as THE place in The Hague where you can always skate "No matter what the weather". The Sweatshop is a big skatepark (1000 square meters) with a lot of obstacles for skating, everything from transition to street.
Skatepark Sweatshop is the easiest to reach from The Hague Central Station.
On your board? Take the exit next to the AH to go and go under the viaduct. Turn right after 'Gerritse IJzerwaren' and you will find Sweatshop Skatepark on your right after 100 metres.
Bus 28 leaves from The Hague Central Station to Voorburg Station once an hour. Get off at the 'Zonweg' stop, walk onto the Binckhorstlaan and you will find Sweatshop Skatepark on your right after 100 metres.
By car: Take the A12 (Utrechtse Baan) and after the Prins Clausplein immediately take the first exit 4- Voorburg. Turn left at the end of the exit. Follow Maanweg until the road bends to the right. Keep to the left and before Brezan Automaterialen turn left into the alley and you are there. There is enough free parking space.
