Who does not know them: the canvas shoes with the white rubber sole and the well-known star on the inside. Authentic, simple and looks good with any outfit.
Started in 1908 as a producer of rubber for shoes and eventually became one of the most worn shoe brands ever.
The turning point for Converse came in 1917 when basketball player Chuck Taylor walked into the shop complaining of painful feet. This landed him a job at Converse, where he worked as a representative and ambassador, making the shoes known all over the world.
Converse hits the market again, this time with a new collection including remakes of old models. Like for example the CONS One Star Pro Ox. This suede skate trainer is a remastered version with the same iconic Converse look. This trainer was embraced by the street and skate culture in the 90s. This has not changed. What has changed is that it now features a pre-molded Nike Lunarlon insole that provides impact cushioning and a chill fit. The sole is extra grippy and provides ultimate board control.
And there are even more new models from Converse that are very skateable, check for example the Breakpoint Pro Ox, One Star Pro Mid or the CTAS Pro Ox. Check out a cool preview of the shoes, where they are tested by pro skater Sage Elsesser.
